When i say Offensive Vehicles, i meant vehicles that the driver can shoot. These include tanks, banshees etc. I think there should be more of these types of vehicles in the UNSC armoury cos the tank and possibly the hornet isnt going to cut it. Then you look at the Covenant, most of their vehicles let the drivers do some gunning. So therefore in matches like invasion, people favour the covenant vehicles over the UNSC vehicles.
Please tell me what you thing about this.
UNSC vehicles are much… SO MUCH more powerful than covie vehicles. Just like in Halo Wars covies can deploy more troops than UNSC but they are not as powerful as UNSC troops. In this case it’s 4 strong warthogs vs. 8 weak ghosts.
IMO UNSC has no need for these “offensive vehicles”.
Mounting dual SMGs onto the handle bars of the mongoose would have been easy enough for the UNSC
I found the Revenant particularly offensive, mainly due to the racial prejudice it had against my spartans skin colour.
Personally i like vehicles that require 2 people like the warthogs and falcon cause it promotes team work and communication. Also in a sizzle reel 343 showed at comic con it showed master chief geting in a mech, which i think is the cyclops.
Well, offensive vehicles are useful, but vehicles like the Warthog and Mongoose promote teamwork, and are more powerful when the team works well together.
The UNSC has always required 2+ drivers to fully operate most of their vehicles, but their vehicles are more powerful than the covenant. Just the way it is.
> IMO UNSC has no need for these “offensive vehicles”.
They do if their troops are going to take forever to get kills with turrets.
Reliance on troopers in Reach = certain death
You know that a game is broken when you’re forced to use the turret yourself with no allies around. In single player.

There’s hardly any teamwork in single player campaign.

people favored vehicles that filled a better purpose.
The Banshee for example was purely overpowered. It was a no-brainer people would use this a lot. The Falcon was also highly used, and though if you are by yourself then the banshee is obviously better. But the Falcon can prove itself incredibly powerful in the right hands of a group.
But the same could be the said about the human tank. It had a fast RoF, insta-kill on infantry, and could kill vehicles in 1-2 hits. The Wraith was faster, but it fired much slower, the arching made it harder to make a accurate shot. Not to mention, EMP to a wraith is a more serious issue than it was to the scorpion because the wraith has a stationary cannon so a enemy could move around after it’s EMP’d while the tank can still move it’s turret. All-in-all, the scorpion beats the wraith.
The Revenant was better than the standard warthog, but mainly because it’s shots acted like the concussion rifle, causing light vehicles to flip over. But the Gausshog easily outclasses the revenant.
