Some of these challenges have people going out of their way to do things they never would otherwise. Like rushing down certain weapons just to get those kills they need. Even quitting a match because it isn’t the right game mode they require.
Even if you aren’t going for the challenges yourself…there is a good chance someone is. Which may impact the game.

I get that. I’m asking what do such players gain by doing so. What does the emblem reward do for them? Last I checked, none of the emblems actually have any effects in-game.
Lots of people who play games with the completionist mindset. Even if it doesn’t do anything for them after earning it, players will still go for it regardless.
Kinda a side-effect of the lack luster content the game has to offer. For some, this is the only thing to work towards anymore.

I play for the completionist mindset too - I started playing the MCC late last May and got all of the achievements done a couple months ago. I have not wasted my time unlocking any of the useless armor at all. I hear nothing but bad things about halo6, anyone that’s dissatisfied with that game should just come back to the mcc and enjoy 343’s attempt at recreating the original Bungie experience.

These wouldn’t be so lame if they actually gave you the emblem for your nameplate/weapon/armor/vehicle all at once, instead of chopping them up and pretending they’re all different rewards.

I'll just save this person the effort of commenting on that:

You’re right! Most mean nothing. Have you also completed all of the LASO ones?
ha ha. Got to keep on pretending eh?

Don’t think that person will be impressed with you getting them all then. Maybe you should tag them into discussing it with you
So that means you have also gotten them as well?
Why not ask that person that said they were useless? I’m sure they’d enjoy playing your little game on here
Why not answer my question about LASO? The OP was worried about colors which mean nothing at all and will have no effects upon his gameplay. No matter what color the OP uses he will only be as efficient in-game as his skill allows.
Well look at that - looks like you knew that answer to your little disingenuous question all along. Got to be careful to be consisent when you pretend!
Edit: missed a letter in the first quote
Yet again, I’d never start off a post with a lower-case letter. I notice your quote didn’t speak to my point. The OP referred to a useless emblem for a meaningless “challenge”. The quotes of mine you are referring to reference the LASO playlists which require skill. If you can’t realize the vast differences between the two then I have nothing else to say.
You know you can click the button on the top right of a quote to view the whole post from which it comes, don’t you?
Also, you might want to re-read your post there, where you reference ‘most of the achievements’ and not LASO as the exception. Nice try though.
They had 2 emblems “Sacrifice” and “Offensive Driving”. Each will have 4 variants. So we’ve already wasted 2 months of this games life span on emblems

You didn’t notice, but I also edited my recent post to take into account your editing before you posted this. Nice try. I’ve also mentioned on here before that the only nameplates that require skill are the LASO ones and also the speedrun ones. I said this months ago. Again I ask, do you have all of those?
I have seen the ad hominem you added to your post. Tsk tsk. I"m sure you saw the note on my post where I explained the edit.
Yet you still haven’t replied to me saying you have them as well.
