Anyone else tired of these low effort “Ultimate” rewards?
For a challenge system that’s supposed to entice me to play more, it sure does a good job of making me not want to play for an entire week.

Yes, this emblem is already ugly. But i also have extremely frustrating challenges that i need to do to get it. I normally love completing challenges, but this just did it for me. I ain’t gonna play the game this week. I have had it!
On top of that: if sometimes they have an emblem+nameplate as prize, that wouldn’t be to bad, but nameplate, weapon emblem, armour emblem and vehicle emblem should be combined into 1 weekly prize, not 4 different ones.

Gives me a free week to play other games that have events and earnable items so i honestly dont care.
If 343 want my attention they need to do better, plenty of games to play out there, even free ones.

I actually decided to go for last weeks challenge and managed to get the reward in my last game (it started 4 minutes before the end and 5 minutes after but still got the challenge complete and received the armour skin)…not that I’ll actually use it.

¯_(ツ)_/¯ I’ve played lots of monster hunter games. Learning attack patterns and avoiding being hit isn’t that foreign a concept.
I never bother with the emblems, my favorite emblem is already in the game. I’ve been flaming ninja since H2.
I almost always go for the coatings though.
I finished up the one this morning and I don’t even know what it was for.

I only play the weekly rewards when they are armour coatings or weapon coatings, but it is quite entertaining, in the intensely bitter sense, to watch 343 openly ignoring the disgust of their fan base time and time again, and just keep peddling this same nonsense. The community has been very clear these rewards and challenges are not worth it…. So what do they do? Repeat one they’ve already done, that was disliked the first time. 
Is it any wonder people are getting put off a game which, at its core, is really fun?

At least this is the vehicle one… These Emblems though should be bundled together to be considered a weekly award, that would include:
Background
Character Emblem
Weapon Emblem
Vehicle Emblem
all together as one.
or better yet, list a pool of possible weekly awards and let players choose the one they want perhaps? This could benefit 343i as well when it comes to giving them a better idea what people actually want for weekly awards by analyzing what people are picking from said pool of awards.

there’s thousands of customization in this game… by overly bloating it
i would get it if the emblem was a one time thing as the weekly reward as a all four in one… but INDIVIDUALLY FOR FOUR WEEKS?! that’s just… lazy… really makes me think 343 has NOTHING else to offer, so they’re stretching out what little they have. because 6 years to make tons of stuff means make 1 thing and split it to drip feed us the rest

Really hard to decide which is worse, another emblem or armor coatings that make it look like gray is the only pallet they have completely mastered. I am like many of you and enjoy completing all of the challenges but I am starting to completely skip the weeks like this. Saddest part is there is no reward to those that completed the battle pass already, something such as continuing to grants xp’s and skips each week would be some consolation. This has gotten so sad that we recently tried PUBG for the first time since season 2… apparently it’s now season 16.

Yea maxed out BP with nothing to put XP towards and lackluster challenges really killed my drive to play.

It’s almost like expecting to keep a game alive purely with cosmetics for a decade was a bad idea.

I’m struggling to think of any reason to play this week at all…
The game isn’t fun due to desync.
The limited map pool is boring and stale.
The limited playlists are boring and stale.
There are no in game rewards to grind for.
There is no reason to play for XP.
There is no reason to complete challenges.
There isn’t a career rank system to grind for.
There is no point completing campaign (again).
Ranked is a horrible experience due to desync and the broken MM algorithms.
…all my friends have quit so it’s a solo experience for me, so what is the point of this game when it isn’t even fun playing for fun?

It is pretty annoying how padded out the weeklies are since the emblems aren’t universal. Oh well, just means I can play the way I want to and I won’t have to bother with the challenges this week.
