Looking at the b.net Flood forum, I wish waypoint had a similar off-topic forum to talk about anything.
I really hope it’ll get incorporated in the next website update.
It doesn’t require a whole scale site update to add a forum, they could do it right now.
As for an off-topic section, it was trailed and tested during the Gamma stages of the forums, it failed and was removed.

An official reason was not given, but it can only be persumed, Yo! is a better substitute, less useless topics on the forums.

What is the necessary reason for Off Topic? It’s Halo Waypoint.com. Not Halo Waypoint and Stuff.
I can totally understand wanting to discuss things outside of Halo…but why do you need to on a Halo site? There’s a huge, practically limitless internet out there FULL of forums, email capabilities, chat/messenger options, etc.
My huge problem with B.net much like most content specific sites is the xxx,000/xxx,000,000 threads - most on the same subjects - nonsensical yammering. Obviously b/c nobody uses any type of Search function nor do they feel they should follow simple rules to talk about Halo on a Halo site.
I don’t even think the yo! thread deserves to exist, let alone an entire forum.
if anything we should be removing the useless polling booth.
