Are the new playlists unranked?
Slayer & swat would benefit from a ranked option as well.

Summary
If 343i cared about player experience at all these new playlists should have been prioritized for ranked but they don’t care about halo fans. Only kids new to the game that will buy the garbage in their store.

Thay were saying this is just a small bit of what there adding as thay didn’t have time to finish it before Halladay break.

But then don’t bring challenges like win a ranked CTF game. Now it will probably only increase the number of quitters in ranked, because people want that CTF game…

And if you quit multiple times in ranked you will be banned for the entire season. Rightfully so

It’s extremely boring that they are all social playlists, when ranked is such a massive part of the community. Not good enough.

Do it right? It’s 343 we’re talking about. They’re either planning to add in ranked later…or…the literal tournament playlist is ranked basically and everything else deemed social with social settings. (I say tournament playlist because that’s basically what they play…minus the most renowned awesome well balanced, well thought out, hyper skill based competitive map known to halo players. None other than the magnificent behemoth with ctf.
It’s no suprise to me at all. I think anyone who expected ranked playlist was just wishful thinking. I mean…maybe it’s great for social players that wanted that, but the people who struggle to enjoy objective modes that want ranked playlists got the short end of it.
They use skill based matchmaking everywhere in this game… The only difference between ranked and unranked is if you see your rank or not

I mean, they’d definitely be creating cosmetics more along the line of crazy stuff you’re looking at in Fortnite and Warzone if they cared more about new players than long standing fans. The fact we’re getting long time fan favorite armors in the store tells me they’re targeting Halo fans for purchases (I’m not saying you can’t still be unhappy about pricing).
I’d imagine most of the long standing Halo player base falls into demographics where they now have adult careers and disposable income. Targeting the cosmetics at young F2P players, likely with less income, just isn’t a logical conclusion imo.

Big Team Battle has straight up died right now. Tried to matchmake until i got the message “There may not be enough players for this playlist. Please select another playlist”. LOL!!!
I think somethings wrong with BTB. Takes me ages to get in a game, then when I do there will be four people in 
after that though when I search again it’s fine, quick load times and full teams 
I mean… it doesn’t help anything that BTB is pretty awful in Infinite. It’s easily the worst game mode right now because of how its been designed and because of the maps.

Perhaps because of the challenges. Almost all challenges are related to 4v4, either by completing or wining in quick play, fiesta, technical slayer or ranked.
We need Ranked Fiesta. /s

i love how everyone wanted slayer as it’s own playlist yet not a single one mentioned about it being ranked. no one brought up slayer to be ranked. just wanted slayer in general. now that slayer is here, people scream, “WHY IS IT NOT RANKED??”
