ODST's night sequence main influence

Easily the biggest influence of ODST’s night segments is Blade Runner. Do you agree or disagree. Discuss

I’ve seen Blade Runner, and see absolutely no similarity, either in visual design or overall tone.

I have a feeling you’re making stuff up to seem interesting. It’s not working.

I’d have to agree.

I actually Agree with the similarities between ODST and the film Bladerunner.

Although the story and plot have no similarities, They are both detective scenarios in a way, and i believe that makes them very similar.

I think the main comparison between them would certainly be the mood and tone. Both Bladerunner and ODST are visually dark pieces of work, the story in both instances progresses at a somewhat slow and climactic pace, and the lighting is done really well, especially for them to both be so dark all the time.

When i first got ODST and started playing it, the first thing i realized was that the music reminded me exactly of Bladerunner. They both have a very similar soundtrack, and that is actually what makes me like ODST so much, because Bladerunner is one of my favorite films of all time
