I know this may seem a little small but I hoenstly was a little dissappointed we haven’t seen ODSTs in Halo 4 or 5. Wouldn’t mind seeing them return in Halo Infinite. They’re still active and Infinity even has its own battalion of them. They were supposedly going to appear in Halo 5’s warzone mode but not sure what happened there.
I was also kinda bummed when they were left out of the last 2 games. ODST’s are badass and should absolutely be more prominent in the story. That ODST cutscene from H2: Anniversary was awesome.
I hope that ODST Troopers are coming back in the upcoming Halo Infinite. I will be very disappointed if they are not in the new Halo video game.

Why would Buck be commanding ODSTs again? Him along with the rest of Alpha 9 are Spartan-IVs now. Plus he seems happy with Alpha 9’s active status once again.

Because i like Buck a simply ODST and not a Spartan

I’d love to see them again!!! I miss them and I would be so happy if they return!!!
I’m so excited about who’s coming back, who’s coming new and if there are some new enemies or maybe again the flood.
But I want the ODSTs back!!!
I wish the Spartan IV’s in H4 and H5 weren’t so bland. I feel like they were supposed to replace the feel you got from ODST’s in the original trilogy, but they just didn’t do anything for me.

I understand how you feel. I liked the Sparran-IVs for the most part (except Sarah Palmer, she’s annoying especially in Halo 4 and the Escalation Comics). The NPC Spartan-IVs in Halo 4’s campaign came off a little creepy with their monotoned voices and lack of emotions in their lines aside from the occasional chuckles from killing the enemy.
