Would you like ODST’s to make appearance in Halo 4? Assuming that the UNSC or whatever military will be involved human side (or whether or not it’s just focused on the Master Cheif) will be involved in Halo 4’s story line. After playing Halo 3: ODST, I made my spartans in all 3 games after ODST’s. I liked how they were portrayed in ODST, because even though they’re above average soldiers, they did some pretty amazing feats i.e:
Buck taking down a Scarab with a Banshee (game-wise only the Master Cheif was able to survive two encounters, Noble one died by taking it out with him).
They took down a cheiftan with “team work”, and all in the end survived the encounter.
The ODST sqaud was able to successfully hold down a rooftop which several Phantoms/Banshee’s attacking them.
And also the fact that only one ODST was able to explore an entire city while encountering several Covenant patrols. And also carryout a task to retrieve Vergil/the Superintendent that was able to find out what the Covenant were doing in New Mombasa.
Just curious on other peoples take on this. Or if you even think ODST armor will be included if 343 includes armor premutations like how Bungie has done with Halo 3, ODST, and Reach.
I’d like to see the ODST’s in Halo 4, I mean they’ve been in most of the games so why not, I don’t think we’d see Buck or Rookie(or any of the specific ones) though.

no just no odst in halo 4 why not just simple there is no homosaipians life form on a forerunner planet only the MC so it wont be correct to see other marines on a planet that is made by the forerunners and sentinels maybe at the end but I’n not sure I think that the MC will take a forerunner ship to go back to one of the UNSC planets and in 5 the covenant got the ship and in 6 the unsc destroyed it
If they’re in 343 better make them “special”, not just more health. They should be smarter, stronger, better aim, more tactical than other marines.

/agree with you there, I was sort disappointed with the ODST armor in Reach. I would like to see the actaul BDU in Halo 4, if they include them.

We don’t know the time peroid of Halo 4, and if the UNSC is included, I’d imagine that marines would be in too. ODST are the Special Forces of the UNSC. I think I interpreted your answer right. On top of that, in the Halo 3 Legendary ending, Cortana activated an emergency beacon.
I think it isnt going to be as good as the others because with Bungie gone and 343i taking over i just dont think they will do a better job.But I will buy it cause it`ll be interesting to see how well they did.=(
Personally i think that it is highly unlikely because the top teir unsc soldiers will be abletoo volunteer for the spartan IV program. So basically they will be replaced/ upgraded to spartan IV’s.
Speelmaster about not knowing when halo 4 takes place I believe that at one point MC say’s “i thought we have a truce with the cov.” and Cortona says “alot can happen in fours years” or something like that putting it four years after halo 3.
