Dropped in one of my favorite lore units in the Halo Universe. Immediately suicide them because of the annoying female voice. I mean, really? Occasionally is fine, but strictly female voiced for the hardest units the UNSC has subtract Spartans? Silly.
What do you mean? The squad leader is female yes, but the other members are male.

Palmer was an ODST also and she one shotted Promethean Knights, Halsey is a woman and she created the Spartans, Linda is a beast Spartan with the Sniper, Kelly is the fastest Spartan. Long story short do not underestimate the women in the Halo Universe they are just as good as the men.
This is a really dumb thing to complain about. The ODSTs sound fine
