Area there different types of ODSTs because I am trying to make an ODST clan with ranks. I think it would be cool to add some other types as actual ranks or something like that. Could someone help?

Looking at the “Personnel” section, it looks like they use standard military ranks. PFC and so on.
Im sorry but I was talking about if the had types similar to Spartans like Gungnirs and Recons. Sorry if I confused you. I wasn’t meaning ranks. I meant types.
As far as I can tell, there aren’t any formal specifications among ODSTs. There are minor variants to their armor (which you can see by switching characters in Halo 3: ODST), but they’re not available in Reach, and they’re not as drastic as the differences between, say, GUNGNIR and Recon. :\
Well I am trying to have dark grey primary color with a secondary that shows what they do like a pilot could have yellow as his secondary color. I might just have to come up with types. Oh well.
Like other groups within the military, each soldier holds an MOS, or trained skill set that allows them to specialize in certain fields. This is apparent in the diversity of talents of Buck’s squad in ODST.
