ODST: Stealth Game?

I know it’s a Halo title and parts of it are indeed action sequences (awesome ones too), but does anyone else think the skulking through the streets at night was Bungie testing out the viability of more stealth oriented missions? Given that most small patrols can taken out in silence or simply avoided altogether, would you say that we could see more of these kinds of missions where we could get rewarded for either running and gunning or slinking past? What do you think?

I think that H3 ODST really is a stealth game, but only because bungie tried do you feel like a real human in the middle of the war against the covies. Maybe they thought in do a spin-off serie but I don’t think they wanted change the original serie missions style.

I would really like that, because in agreement, ODST did seem like a stealth orientated game. It was very difficult to do full frontal assaults and pull it off without dying There should be an indicator so say when a Covie is alerted, more flood in. So, the player can choose their game technique

I’ve currently gone back to ODST on the MCC, I feel stealthy, but maybe that’s because you realise that your not a spartan with regenerating shields as you can die, so constantly have to stay covered behind corners until you find the perfect opportunity to move. The baseline weapons were stealthy, the SMG with the suppressor, but I didn’t think the pistol was that silent. It doesn’t have a suppressor on it.

What? The M6C/Socom (AKA the ‘Automag’) absolutely does have a suppressor on it. Here is the article.

Yeah its a integrated sound suppressor which less bulk then a regular suppressor extending the barrel.
