I think that in Halo reach the ODSTs did not get enough attention. I did not really like the look and they were in like 2 levels. They should bring back the Rookie and buck and his team in halo 4. Or even halo 5 if they cannot.
We’ve already seen them several times in trailers. As for “the” ODST squad returning I think not.

I see a chance of Buck making an appearance in Halo 4 as a Spartan IV.
The UNSC needs the best man for this project, and Buck would be the right man for that IMO.

As far as the squad from Halo 3: ODST, I don’t think so except maybe Buck as a Spartan IV.

I feel like im the only one that does not care to see Buck and his squad return. They just never left an impression on my after ODST.

I second that, but for different reasons. I’d rather, if they were to return, to see Buck and the squad with their own side story, be it in a standalone game like ODST, or a comic, or book.

It’s possible, but they are in the Campaign.
I always liked ODST’s Be it in the games, books or comics, As long as i have a few of them by my side im quite happy. With regards to Buck and his squad it would be nice for them to have a little Cameo or something.

I think they are the Spartan version of the Odsts. I think those spartans next to chief are wearing odst themed armor just to represent, but I’m sure we will have actual odsts.
I liked how we commanded a few In reach as they showed up next to the Radar they had some interesting names lol

They’re ODSTs. Their armor is distinctly different from Mjolnir (though obviously an off-shoot of the technology as the ODST BDU has always been). In addition, the Spartan IV’s we’ve seen don’t match up with the two character in the picture I’ve linked.

So those are the actual Odsts. If so, then they look very impressive for me to mistaken them as a Spartan IV or a Spartan in general.

I’m 99% sure they are ODST. It has not been confirmed by an official source, but I’ve already explained my reasons for my belief.
It seems I’m in the majority, as the last time a poll was done, most people think they’re Spartan-IVs. I could be wrong, but I doubt I am.
