if I buy odst pre-owned will I still be abble to use the dlc maps?

Yes, Mythic map pack is on diffrent disk.
If you have this disk, you can play it.

Halo 3: ODST comes with two discs. The first disc contains the game for ODST, which includes ODST’s Campaign and Firefight modes. The second disc includes all of Halo 3’s DLC.

So yes, if you do get the second disc then you will be able to access all of the multiplayer maps for Halo 3.

If you purchase and download ODST on Games on Demand however, you will not be able to. The Games on Demand version does not feature the second disc content.
