After a few days break I came back to continue my playthrough of the ODST “Heroic Campaign” playlist. My next mission, as shown on the menu, was the “Mombasa Streets” segment that is right after the mission “NMPD HQ”. But whenever I select “resume” it loads into the start of the mission “ONI Alpha Site”, no matter what I do. Even the loading screen uses the image of and is labeled as “Mombasa Streets”, but after the loading screen it keeps throwing me right into the starting cutscene of “ONI Alpha Site”, followed by the level itself…
I have just tried playing “NMPD HQ” on Herioc from standalone mission select to test if my solo mission plays for achievements caused it, but it doesn’t seem to have fixed anything. I also have tried restarting the game.
Workaround found: play a level from a different playlist. I played the first level of the Legendary Playlist and when returning to the Heroic playlist things worked correctly. Still confused as to why this happens.
Oh no, I hope to not incur in the same issue. I started the LASO playlist and I am just at the beginning of ONI Alpha Site. It would be frustrating if the game loads me back there after I pass the mission.

As I said, looks like you can fix it by just playing a level in a different playlist. So Just knock out the first level on easy I guess if you run into the issue.
