Just had a thought because of the recent additions of ODST weapons now in halo 3, I was wondering could certain fire fight maps become potential objective big team maps? ONI alpha site for example (security zone).
I doubt we’d ever have team slayer ODST n whatever but that could get us pretty damn close to it!
I would love the implementation of the ODST Firefight maps in multiplayer and matchmaking, that would be insanely awesome!
Lost Platoon would make a great 4 vs. 4 map.

The engine for ODST is identical to the one for Halo 3 but it would also necessitate Halo 3 style gameplay and some potential revisions so that Spartan gameplay doesnt make maps busted.
But if they can impliment it, I dont see why not to be honest
Ideas are good, but I doubt very much that happens in the future. 343 is focusing right now to bring H4 to PC, and whether they fix the actual broken things like stats or they just keep adding “new” content instead of repairing what has been broke since release, it’s just a good idea on paper that would unlikely get real someday.
That’s what Eldewrito was all about. A community of players who had interesting ideas, by fans, for fans.
