Decided to try the 3 hour completion achievements for all the games and went to start with this one since it’s the easiest. After I took 6 minutes or so off of my time on the first level I decided to look and see how much more time I needed to take off and found out that I’d already done the whole campaign in 179 minutes the first time I did it on legendary whenever that was, which is already less than 3 hours
So the achievement should have unlocked over half a year ago but didn’t and now that I’ve taken even more time off (173 minutes 15 seconds overall) it still isn’t unlocked, anyone else having issues with any of these type of achievements?
The MCC unlocks achievements based on what the server can see. If you look at your service record here on Halo Waypoint, you can see the best times recorded for each mission. These times must add to some amount below 3 hours for the achievement to unlock, which it seems has not happened. It is possible that the local game and the server became desynchronized, a common error in the past. If you shave some time off the missions now so that your Waypoint Service Record shows a completion time of less than 3 hours, you should unlock the achievement.
