Hey Guys
Just completed ODST legendary solo and saw the legendary ending. I was wondering if anyone knows what it meant or what Truth found buried beneath the Superintendent. Was, if anything , released by bungie or 343i about its purpose and meaning?
It really puzzled me, did it anyone else?
if this has already been said please link me the thread.
The Ending
Either you slower than potatoes or potatoes just evolved.
Watch ALL the new halo 4 videos, you will find the answer yourself :3
(Hope I helped)

It is SO special! That’s the portal to the Ark! The place where Truth almost fired all of the Halos, completely eradicating life from the galaxy!

The portal is important, the scene not, I mean what is the purpose of showing us Truth found the portal to the Ark, we already knew he did on Halo 3, In fact we already destroyed the ark so I didn’t saw this ending as satisfactoru as others like the Halo 3 Legendary Ending. This ending would be interesting if you played ODST before Halo 3, which would be something rare if you are a fan of the story of Halo.
What information did Sergeant Johnson learn from interrogating Vergil? Does anyone know? This has been bothering me for awhile.

I’d assume Vergil revealed to Johnson that Truth was searching for the Ark.
Check the dates guys. This thread has been inactive for almost 2 years.

The Huragok wasn’t named Vergil, he was revealed to actually be called “Quick to Adjust” by Catalog. Catalog also revealed that Quick never revealed anything because the Forerunner Dreadnought arrived and interrupted everything.

It was just as good of a scene as anything bonus ending scenes from the other halos the problem that you’re having if you’re forgetting it’s a prequel. So naturally whatever we see at the end of ODST has something to do with something we’ve already done in Halo 3.
Please don’t revive very old threads thanks
