Not sure what all is changed, but I was prompted to download an update sometime ago. Only thing I’ve noticed so far is FF now has the announcer from Reach.

That’s really weird. Did you just get the game for the first time? If so, then I think there has been one TU, so that makes sense.

I’ve heard of this before, I think sometimes your console will remove some smaller game updates to make room for other content, or it’s possible that an update you already had has become corrupted and needed to be downloaded again.
Either way, I don’t think it’s a new title update. It would have been announced somewhere if it was 
My console has never removed any updates, and my ODST has always been up to date. Also, I never do remember the Reach announcer being in it.

I know a way to fix this, just tell me, does your ODST Firefight have the Reach announcer? If yes, then I guess I never received the update before and I was late for it!
I don’t think odst had a tu update and yes your Xbox does remove updates if it need room for more in the system cache

No, there has been no title update for ODST, and probably there never will be.
343 won’t do a TU for any other Halos, just their series of Halo games. The only thing they will do to the old halos is consolidate the playlists…

Of course? It’s been they way since CE? I meant the phrases, not the announcer, are completely from Reach (you know, “Killing Spree!”, “Triple Kill!”, Vehicular Manslaughter!", etc.).
