ODST GAME-BREAKING GRAPHICS BUG

For the first time ever in Halo history the textures became corrupt (I assume these were the new HD textures). I’ve seen this issue when I wreck something in Falout 3/NV regarding textures resulting in a similar issue…

Upon beginning Oni Alpha Site, all the weapons, vehicles, AIs and majority of the scenery were texture-less (solid black).

I fixed the issue by quitting and resuming.

Can someone please make note of this? Has anyone else even experienced this glitch before?

Did you save a clip of it? I’ve never seen this.

No, it was during my playlist run, the clip was removed after I had done more missions and matchmaking… You know… Because we can only have 12 recent clips and cant save them. Besides, I was recovering my HD so I wouldn’t of recorded it at the time anyway.

This would’ve been an interesting glitch to see.

This. Or double tap the Xbox logo button (home button?) on the controller and hit “x” to save the last 30 seconds of gameplay to your console, if you don’t have have a Kinect.

that’s a lot of excuses for why no clip was made, anyway, time to shoot a zebra with my boomerang.

So late to this post, however I just had this and managed to get a little recording of it. The textures are so dark, almost solid black with little details, in visr mode you can sort of make out the texture, however it is still really dark. I thought something was up but hadn’t really looked into it.

Please don’t revive old topics, thanks.
