343 I know you’re busy with Halo Wars 2 and Halo 6, but come on! We still don’t have Halo 3 ODST firefight on Xbox one! I would prefer a dlc to add it to MCC, but at this point I’d be thrilled just to have the original 360 version of the game become backwards compatible so I could at least get back to playing firefight.
This is seriously the biggest halo request I have and has been a constant desire for over 2 years! People will say you have Spartan assault or halo reach firefight but that is not a valid exemption from giving us odst firefight in its original glory. True Halo fans love ODST firefight. It was a unique experience in art and feel and I’ve never had more fun with a coop game. My friends and I are all so anxious to play ODST firefight again.
Not giving us ODST firefight is like making all the Harry Potter movies available on blu Ray except for one, or half of one. It just doesn’t make sense. And even if you enjoy brand new halo experiences it is still a blast to go back and play the old games and old experiences that have been such a fundamental part of making incredible memories.
Please throw us a bone. Heck if you sold dlc for it for MCC I would fork $$$ over for it. Take my money!
I know you guys want to look ahead and ignore past mistakes, but the fact is you create long term fans and followers by supporting the old games. Look at Blizzard. They support their old games in an incredible way and they have some of the fiercest fans in the video gaming industry.
If you want to preserve the Halo legacy you need to make sure all the original content is playable on the Xbox One.

That’s a bit silly, firefight was the main thing about ODST (mainly because that was the only other thing to the campaign)
What part is silly to you? The fact I said it was 50% of the game? I mean it doesn’t matter exactly what percent it was. Point is it was a huge aspect of the game and should be preserved for the Xbox One. Come on I can’t be that far in the minority with wanting ODST firefight on Xbox one!
It sucks that they took Firefight out of ODST when it came to MCC. The probability of getting it back is very unlikely.
Would be awesome to see firefight in MCC. But i feel like the teams are strugling to keep up. Al kinds of good games take time to expand or great new content that’s decent. Look at killing floor 2 updates takes ages but it’s good. So i still hope for a good firefight like odst had. I think apart of it is how hard it is now to program and make everyone happy at the same time.

It would have be lovely if firefight was in the MCC, however, if any future editions of ODST are released, lets say in a bundle with H3 as a complete definitive edition, it should almost definitely include firefight. Maybe 343 could create a special 10 year anniversary map celebrating the event. Or someone in the community could create one, a competition would decide which one gets picked.
I went to a Walmart 2 days ago and a found Halo 3 ODST that was completely sealed with the complete halo 3 multiplayer and like any halo fan I bought it as soon as I could for 20 bucks, the halo ODST campaign is also on the Xbox store with the firefight I you want for 12 bucks.
If you really want the firefight than just go to a Walmarts discount bin at the very bottom or find shelf with just halo, there was also 10 halo reach copy’s along with it. The other way to get it is to just buy the campaign edition on the Xbox store.
