343, if you are going to go to the effort to add the ODST campaign, please add the complete game! I don’t want to have to play in 720p/30 to play firefight. Adding this would make the master chief collection one step closer to being truly complete.
Halo Reach full game DLC hint hint… And Halo Wars if you truly feel like making the Halo completionists in your community happy.
Master Chief wasn’t in any of those games so it wouldn’t make sense to include them in the Master Chief Collection. ODST is only being added as compensation for a -Yoink- launch as far as I know.

I agree with this ^ I really hope they are reading and paying attention to us id love halo reach and firefight to came to the collection.
I agree with that Firefight should come to MCC also it would be awesome to get Halo:Reach via DLC. Halo wars? maybe. I am not 100% about that.
That’s a slippery slope past ODST, well and them even addin ODST lol. Because of threads like this. You give them 1 piece, they want it all, and won’t be happy till they get every game. O and it must run perfect with all engines running and no problems.
But I do agree with the firefight part since they are adding ODST, o well, we’ll see.

Having products consumers will buy if you choose to put them out is not a “slippery slope” haha
Does anyone else have the sinking feeling that 343 always intended to put out ODST but as DLC we could buy later down the road? I have a feeling when all is said and done, Reach will be making an appearance on the Master Chief Collection as DLC to buy.

Master Chief is in Halo: Reach. He is not playable but in one of the final cutscenes of the game if you look left you can see him in a cryo-tube.
And Although Master Chief is not in ODST at all the story line occurs directly after the metropolis mission in Halo 2 in the same city Chief was just in (it should have been halo 2: ODST). What they haven’t done is explained where the ending of the ODST campaign ties into the Chief saga lore so I am wondering if we will get a bonus tie in cutscene at the end of MCC:ODST.
Also if they really plan on doing this (new ending odst cutscene) then it makes me think that they had already planned this and that ODST was already a working idea. If this is the case then I really don’t think ODST is a suitable compensation because when they announced it they made it seem like they were doing this just for us (the disgruntled fans).
