Since it’s not in the base game, and there have been a large number of complaints about it, have any of you considered that it may be unlocked through Waypoint?
I believe all armor pieces were shown at PAX.

It is the closest you will get in halo 4.

This isnt ODST, i like zhe helmet 
but anyways just saying looks alil similar to ODST, its aur assault
I don’t even think ODSTs will be in the game.
I think most ODST’s story wise, started using Air Assault, and Recon Helmets, but I have hoped the original ODST design would return for those who enjoy it. And it is possible that not all armor in general was shown, some could be locked until release and unlocked through Waypoint, because I am sure some armor will be obtained through it and Achievements.
Alot of ODST’s entered the Spartan IV program as it was created, so its possible that they started using the more complex, evolved, designs overtime as well depending on their speciality.
I don’t think there even will be ODST’s in the campaign. Which is a little disappointing but makes sense. Looks like the Infinity is just manned with Spartan IV’s and regular marines.
I believe it’ll be unlockable through Waypoint, maybe beat Halo 3: ODST on Heroic or Legendary?
Hang on a second, ODST helmet isnt in Halo 4? wow that’s the only helmet i have always worn (and still do now) on Halo 3 and i also used it when i played a little Reach.

Meh, even though I really like the ODST helmet, it kind of makes sense that they do not have it on the game. I can almost guarantee that there are no ODST’s on the Infinity. I shall miss the ODST but the Recruit or Air Assault look pretty similar.

Just because there are Spartans, doesn’t mean there are no ODSTs?
It would be a nice addition to have the helmet, but there’s so many more to choose from this time around (and two that look very similar anyway).

I may have not been a big fan of the ODST armor, but i have to hand it too you. It is kid of “suckish” that it won’t be in Halo 4.
Since Spartans are not ODSTs, I’m kinda glad it’s not in. They’ve made similar designs to scratch taht itch aside from actually calling it ODST armor.

I can be 98% sure 343 will have unlockable armor through waypoint. But I don’t know if they’ll do ODST.
While I loved the ODST armor, it doesn’t “fit” as being a Spartan armor. I loved using it in Reach but I get it =\ hopefully and this is a long stretch that they’ll let us unlock it through waypoint…but I doubt it
