Would you want the ODST armor in Halo 4? My opinion: yes. Why not? There’s a lot of people who want to dress their Spartan in ODST armor. It was used in Halo 3 and Reach before.

I’d love to see SPI armor in Halo 4. I think that 343 should add as much customization as possible. The only thing about SPI is that it may not be put in the game because it’s old armor, and almost all of the armor we’ve shown are pretty new. I still think they’ll feature a lot of old armor though. And SPI is designed for Spartan III’s. But that doesn’t really matter though. If it did, they might develop a Spartan IV version of the SPI?

Yes. Another problem is that the SPI lack energy shields, and has active camouflage.
Yeah id love to see it in H4 iv always thought that helmet was kick -Yoink-.

Yep. But that doesn’t have to affect gameplay. It also doesn’t cost very much to produce but may be one of the costly armor to purchase. The SPI armor apparently does not grant enhanced strength, speed, or agility. The air supply lasts for only about seven minutes, cannot be used for long periods of time without the cooling system failing, less durable, etc. If I was a Spartan I definetely would not use this armor even though it looks totally -Yoink-.

Why would it create a rage pit? Bringing back an armour that people like seems like a god thing to me…

Of course! Which is one of the reasons I would love to see it back! I know other people want it to return, and I would enjoy seeing people wearing it.

Looking at the new armor, the likelyhood of there being ODST armor is slim. 343i is taking Halo’s armor customization in a TOTALLY new direction. Dont expect to see many “returns” that look anything like the originals

I agree. To be honest, I can’t really picture ODST armor in Halo 4’s graphic style. I don’t think we have even seen an original make a return. But I’d still like ODST armor though.
I can see ODST armor coming back, but not the way we remember. 343 could change it and give it a MK VII twist

I’d rather see a new re-imagined version of the ODST helmet in Halo 4 rather than a copy of what we’ve seen in past games, so that doesn’t bother me.
I see no reason why they would not include at least the helmet; it’s just about as iconic as Mark V.

Pfft ODST has been around sing CE. -Yoink- there’s even a book based on ODST. I wouldn’t mind seeing a re-created ODST helmet or armor set.
