I just downloaded the Crimson maps (which I enjoy, incidentally), and I was playing a game of Infinity Slayer on Harvest. I jumped in the gunner’s seat for a teammate’s Warthog, which was instantly EMPed as soon as we left the base. He jumped ship, but I kept shooting and killed the guy with the turret right as the Warthog exploded, killing me as well. Out of the blue, I unlocked the “ODST” achievement, which is supposed to be awarded for killing someone after being launched out of a man cannon. Is this a common problem, or just a weird glitch? I’m not complaining, just figured I’d bring it to the community’s/343’s attention.
It’s been happening to a lot of people, myself included.
Yes I got a hail Mary and it unlocked for me. Weird.
I got a triple kill and got it.
i got it by shooting someone with the flagnum
I got a bulltrue and the achievement popped.
So I guess if you kill someone in a way that’s at all abnormal, you get it then. =P Well, hopefully the other achievements work: I was kind of looking forward to the challenge!
Yeah, I got it for killing someone in the mantis…
I got it after using a teleporter, turning around and killing someone. But I wouldn’t consider this as an abnormal way of killing someone.
Kill from the grave got it for me. I just wish everyone could randomly have all the Mantis achievements pop. I can’t even play on these maps because of my extreme hate towards the Mantis.
I got this and ODST despite never entering a man cannon.
i have a doubt about the achievements you can only do this new achievements on the new maps or you can do it in any map?
Just got this achievement and the david and goliath and pump yer brakes, although i did them by actually killing the mantis, im pretty happy first time i took down a mantis by boarding it

I’m scared to play now. I kind of wanted the challenge in getting it. 
I was in a mantis, scored a double kill but died at the same time and i got it.
I got it while jumping and shooting at someone
I’ve gotten Special Delivery, description says: “In Crimson DLC matchmaking, killed an enemy when landing from a man cannon” LOL. I got it when I stuck a guy with a sticky grenade >.>
I also got Pump Yer Brakes (the normal way atleast) and ODST from killing someone with a rocket launcher on shatter extraction…

Am I the only one who got it the way it supposed to be?
P.S. I got “Clay Pigeon” by killing an airborne enemy with a sword. Description says “<mark>shoot</mark> an enemy who’s airborne from a Man Cannon”
