Same thing happen to me. Random achievement just pop up.
It’s not the first achievement in the Halo series that glitched. I remember in Reach during a game of Firefight a Hunter charged me as I went into Armour Lock, when I popped out of it a team mate’s frag killed it and then the achievement popped up for using Armour Lock to destroy a vehicle.
I hope that sort of stuff happens to me again. I’m not a big fan of man cannons…
