Im I the only person who wants an ODST 2 or a similar game? I loved the feeling of not being a superhuman deathmachine, it really gave a sence of how the Halo universe is to a normal soldier and I’d personally like to have more experiences like it.

I think it might be a little far fetched. Practically everyone from Alpha Team is either dead or disbanded.
Well not exactly the same team, I just want a game as something else than a Spartan. And i just joined waypoint the day I made this so sorry for not knowing.
No, I don’t want an ODST 2 (Not because I didn’t like it). But yes, I would love another spin off where we don’t play as Spartans.
I think it would be cool to play as a marine or ONI agent, maybe someday we will see a game as a member of the covenant even.

I wouldn’t want a sequel in the sense of a continuation of the story. What I’d really like to see is an expansive re-imagining.
Picture this: ODST recreated in the “nu-Halo” engine (but without the movement mechanics like sprint, thrusters, etc.) and with more than the original. A more expansive “Mombasa Streets” hub level, more collectibles like the audio logs, a mission or two where you play as Dare before the Rookie catches up to her in Data Hive, and the addition of PvP multiplayer and Forge to complete the package.
Imagine a new collectible that you find on fallen marines’/ODSTs’ bodies that show you their point of view before their demise (like how Master Chief saw Jenkins die in his own PoV after the fact in CE’s “343 Guilty Spark” level) but instead of a cutscene, its playable.
Imagine expanding on the Superintendent’s control of the city, with the player able to interact with things from a distance (turning on a police cruiser’s sirens to distract a pack of Brutes for instance). Perhaps the Rookie could befriend unaccompanied Engineers and even receive new equipment/modifications by collecting parts for one, but Covenant will obviously want to kill it.
I’d really love to see something like this happen… but at this point, its probably just wishful thinking.
Yes sadly it probably is just wishful thinking. I would love to see a game such as that but I also think 343 needs to focus on the main stroy before they move into places like this. I have nothing against 343 and I have enjoyed all their games but IMO Halo 5 had a campaign that left alot to be desired and I’d rather see a -Yoink- story in the next Halo than a new spin off.
I’ll take an ODST 2 but on Scorpio with some sort of multiplayer not firefight though.

I would love an ODST 2. I would assume an ODST wouldn’t have spartan abilities for obvious reasons. If that’s the case then I’m all for it. Then all they would need to do is not add sprint to the squel and give it a good Campaign/Multiplayer. Possibly even add classic Firefight since this is the game that started it.
Would love an ODST 2. Maybe following some of their activities during/after the Human-Covenant War that aren’t covered in New Blood or other media.
