dont know why I got so disappointed with the teaser trailer. I honestly thought that we were going to get a new halo title and from what you see in the trailer, I was getting a lot of halo ODST 2 vibes until you see the MK 7 spartans that is. Im not saying the trailer is bad but I was let down. Seeing the phantom flying overhead at night with brute patrols in the roads, the road barriers and the drop pods!! Even the woman I thought that was Sadie. Everything was looking like halo ODST and I was waiting to hear some classic saxophones playing and seeing Halo ODST 2 coming 2023. My only question is why make it look so much like ODST? If you go back and look again, there are a lot of comparisons to this teaser trailer and odstâs old trailer. It just sucks is all. It would of been better if it was ODST 2 but yea why not a multiplayer background story I supppose why notâŠ
I mean, thatâs a little unrealistic to think they were announcing another Halo game before Infinite is even out - especially with the delays itâs received.
It was probably more of a fan service than anything, everyone loves watching a ODST/Spartan step out of a pod with guns blazing on a dark night.

How do you expect a Odst 2 to launch when the main and sole focus is pushing Infinite out the door? Especially when the focus is playing as a Spartan?
I wonât even begin to ask why anyone would think that 343i has enough development resources to work actively on two major titles at once, especially knowing that they take the greater half a decade between releases.

Right! I donât understand the thought behind this? We would have leaks of Odst 2 in promo for food and toys like with Infinite.

Didnt say they were working on a second title at all. If your gonna have a new trailer that looks nearly identical to another game in the franchise you could get your hopes up easily and sadly too lol. Yep your right 343 dont have enough time for anything else. Maybe if they did it would explain why infinite is struggling for release but thats just hoping and dreaming and hey they could have made a teaser trailer for ODST 2 and not even work on it until after infinite really.

If Staten stays with 343 long term, I could definitely see an ODST inspired spin off, or maybe even campaign dlc for Infinite, and Iâd be suuuuuper down for that. An ODST style campaign in Banished occupied London would be badass.

I would shake and cry in shock and awe over an ODST 2 reveal once the 10 year estimated runtime for Halo Infinite is up. Or yeah, they could drop a DLC campaign. They could do anything in the span of a decade.

They didnât say anything of dragging out Chiefâs story, were you not paying attention on Staten saying they want your mp Spartan to have impact on the story?

It felt like a teaser, but they have a lot of work, like everyone says with co-op and forge. But we can dream bröther, I hope that Joseph goes back to ODST writing again now that heâs at 343, and they have made the finishing touch for Infinite.
Halo Infinite: ODST, expansion campaign. Set in future London, extraction mission, rainy mood and jazz music. Coming in season 7. Lets us dream.
