Obviously I know the big infinite blow out is on the horizon. Just wondered what y’all thought the odds of this feature being available at launch is?
I’d like to think with the guarantee of a fleshed out Forge at launch, that this would go hand-in-hand with that.
I am rooting for this more than Firefight or any other mode that isn’t campaign, forge, multiplayer tbh. Literally a game changer IMO (loved the brief chance to use this in Reach).
If Halo Infinite launches without the browser, it’d be pretty embarrassing imo. Customs is a huge part of the Halo experience, and Halo 5 suffered immensely because forge was missing at launch. I hope 343 has the Customs browser figured out by release, because that’ll be a pretty sizeable disappointment.
With Infinite’s year delay I’m assuming every main content will be available at launch (forge, costum browser, infection, btb).
Even with the delay I don’t think all the content will be there day 1. I wouldn’t be surprised if they did their trickle flow method again to try to keep population coming back. Although with it being FTP I don’t see a population problem within the first 3 months
Customs browser will still be there, but it’ll be difficult for people to make maps on the first day. Maybe on the second or third then the browser will be filled up.

If they do it that way again, then the CGB would be perfect for people to get their fix of whatever gametype/combo they like

Absolutely no harm in that!

Agreed I doubt it’ll be there at first but at some point it will defiantly be an addition to the game, I’d probably give it 3-6 months before we have all the good stuff in the game.
Just like the last releases of Halo 4 & 5 first 3-6 months are crucial content wise.
