In almost every Halo game a main character has died, so odds are someone if going to die in Halo 5. It could be anyone: Halsey? Lasky? A member of Osiris or Blue Team?

I also have a feeling like infinity is gonna go boom boom and blow up killing Lasky.

I do have a very strong feeling Halsey may die, just to build more character development for Blue Team.

Actually pretty sure Arby will survive until they are ready to cement ONI in the ‘bad guys’ book, which they aren’t doing yet.

I really don’t thing the infinity is going. Its a massive ship and the flag ship of the UNSC and we have only seen it in halo 4 and Escalation. There is so much more we could see from it. Also it’s the main menu background for Halo 5 it don’t thinknow they would put a destroyed ship as the thing you see everytime you open the game.

I think it’ll be heavily damaged by a guardian and Lasky is gonna die. But who knows. Only time will tell

I honestly think this may be the first Halo game without any major characters dying since Halo 2 and ODST. After all, 343 stated that you’ll be playing with your squad throughout the game. So I can’t imagine anybody dying without Blue Team and Osiris teaming up.
If Halo 5 is still the darkest Halo game, I think it will be darker due to thematic reasons rather than seeing people die. We’ll probably get to see how bitter Chief is about losing Cortana and begin to questioning his past. Not to mention all of the death and destruction reigned down by the Guardians.
