I’m genuinely curious as to why oddball has never been featured in H5. Is there a legit reason why 343 didn’t include it in Arena or even as a rotating social playlist? I feel like it’s a classic playlist that needs some love from the H5 development team. Thoughts?

With the recent addition of the grenade launcher, an oddball gametype would let us bring back BOOM Ball from Halo Reach. An amazingly fun gametype.

I know – almost all of the Halo gametypes are based on traditional games – capture the flag, king of the hill, etc. “Oddball” is just the Halo name for keep-away, and it’s strange that 343i decided it suddenly didn’t belong in the game.
That game mode was one of the most funy, with Crazy King and Team Headhunter
There’s no Oddball because 343 hates us. Should have been there at launch, just like the rest of stuff on the extensive list of -Yoink- we don’t have anymore!! Thanks for nothing I guess
