in my personal opinion the modes in ranked although limited are pretty good apart from oddball the pace of the game just dies and promotes camping in an almost worrying degree there is no skill involved in a win other than camp a corner and the spawns the ruin the opponents team useless especially with a 10 second respawn a 20 second run across the map then a 20 second fight to get 5 points then they take the ball back again it quite literally isn’t fun nor enjoyable trying to climb ranked but losing every oddball game otherwise I think the game is pretty spot on in almost every other way fix the spawns and sort the maps and oddball
Yeah. I don’t like oddball for ranked, some may disagree but it’s the worst one for objective play. I’d rather have VIP or KoTH.
Then add in the oddball glitches we currently have in ranked with it… where you can throw a ball inside a wall for an easy win lmao.
yeah to many issues and forces a certain playstyle at least to me the skill isn’t a factor in oddballl which takes away the point of competitive play again though not pooping on the game i do really enjoy it
Yeah it’s pretty poop as a team game in general. More fun as a FFA with 1 hit kill.
I like the objective gamemodes in ranked, all of them. It adds variety in ranked.
Only objective mode that I like in ranked is CTF.
Strongholds is dumb because you have to have 2 caps to gain any points and defending a cap is not viable because if the enemies are smart they’ll stack up and push a cap while they outnumber defenders so they easily take the cap. Only real viable strategy is to trade caps and I don’t like playing Ring around the Rosie.
Slayer and CTF should be the only ranked modes imo
