You mean the vampire ball? I’ve only played it a couple of times… but it was a lot of fun.
I think you need a bit of a reward for picking up the ball. An instant shield boost or even kick start to your OS.

Regular Oddball? You might be onto something with that weaksauce two hit melee.
Vampire Ball? That mode is awesome.

That’s actually a good idea. Half an OS would be a decent boost. Right now the ball holders die pretty fast, unless the holder does well in luring the others into enclosed spaces. Maybe even a walking speed boost.

I had a blast I legit went from 3 points to 93 and I had the honor of watching a lobby of randoms team up STOP FFA and work as a team to kill me. I squee’d. It was such an honor to piss 5 people off so bad. Didn’t help though cuz since they teamed up they were all together and knocked eachother out. Here I come scoop. Last 7 points.
It’s the only time I have fun in FFA. But otherwise I agree odd all these days kinda blows…

I’d love to search in a Rumple Pit/FFA list, not scuffed Action Sack.
I played both FFA Oddball and Vampire ball and coming from a player who typically stay away from anything FFA related I love both Oddball and Vampire ball. I typically do not like FFa especially FFA slayer but I love the rumble pits new modes
