So you’re playing oddball, and a random enemy comes up to you, shooting you. What do you do? S/he’s too far away to melee.

THROW THE BALL AT THEM

Yes, this works. When he catches it they’ll be without weapons,then you can kill them and take the ball back.

Why has no one thought of this yet?

I’ve seen people do this in videos before the game even launched. This is not the first I’ve heard of it. But yes, it is a smart move.
