If you have seen the oddball and flag assassinations you know that the body of the player you assassinated disappears.
Why is that?

I’m thinking maybe the Oddball and Flag are considered Promethean weapons. The Oddball kinda looks like it to me, and it’s kinda cool seeing the bodies disintegrate.

Love the flag assassination. I always wondered why the flag had a “knife” type thing at the bottom.

The point is… “just because”.
I don’t see why anyone wouldn’t be a fan. It’s just something extra that’s going to rarely happen. How often do you backpack someone with a skull or flag? You also don’t have to hold in the button so YOU technically never have to perform it.

It’s just a small, cool visual touch that does nothing to the actual gameplay. What’s the problem with it?

It’ll look just as cool when a forerunner weapon does it. And it’ll be more appropriate. My opinion. Deal with it.
