Oddball and king of the hill

So I like to play commendations, my current commendation count is 97%, I need Oddball, King of the Hill, and Flood.

I understand there are gametype lists telling me my best shot with oddball and king of the hill, they never pop up, never get voted, and Oddball only appears in rumble pit and multi team, and its impossible to make any progress at all, join in progress does not help.

I am hoping for some update to give back team objective or just some gametype which makes these playable

343i needs to do away with CTF as a standalone playlist and bring back Team Objective.

no it would be classed more of an assault gametype, the ball is a bomb, don’t get points for holding it, but Its just visually the same

There are no Assault commendations in Halo 4.

And anyway, I know you can get Oddball’s “first touch” medals in Ricochet.

Yes it does just not holding the ball. which is great seeing how there’s almost no other way to get oddball done

is this true? winning a match of Ricochet counts as a win in Oddball?

I completed Carry the Oddball, Odball Beatdown and Drop the Ball all on Richochet!

Even Oddball Victory counts in Richochet, however, I still have about 100 wins to go.

Team objective would be nice to see again. But a Oddball or KotH came back as a game type on their own again that would be even better.

Only for Oddball Beatdown. Wins, Carrier kills, and holding the ball do not.

I think in the new Ricochet playlist victories do not count. But on the Champion’s playlist ricochet victories do count towards oddball victories. I’m not sure if they changed that after the update, I hope not otherwise IDK how I’ll finish my oddball victory commendation.

Try play with a full party.

So if what ever playlist requires Oddball and it is 8 people, get a party of 8. And when you see it, you all vote. As you will probably be playing with mates, should be more fun than normal.

Nothing better than beating your own mates.

but they aren’t playing Halo 4 any more. So I joined up with a clan. All they play are Custom games or other games as well…

I only need like 8 wins at Oddball to finish that out, so I will be playing Ricochet all weekend (with randoms).

I’m also trying for commendations/armors and KOTH is impossible to play always end up playing KTF,that commendation is at 97% and I don’t even like playing Flag at all. It’s extremely frustrating to be forced into an undesirable game type ALL NIGHT LONG !!
