Hi! I have just built a mostly new PC (a few parts are from my old rig). and since the steam winter sale is also on I bought a game to test it, Halo Master Chief Collection. After installing I get ready to play, only to find that the game’s colors are all wrong! To illustrate the problem, look at this pic:
That menu should not look like that, for example if you look at the right side of the pic the sarge’s face and master chief’s visor are blue. You may have noticed that the picture above is a photograph instead of a screengrab. Why is that? Well, because while preparing to make this post I found this:
If I hit print screen and paste on photoshop, the screengrab looks completely normal. Also, I found that if i hit alt+tab, this happens:
As in, the game suddendly looks right, and something is putting a color filter over the game. I think this probably means both the GPU and my monitor are working fine, and there is something else causing this issue. I tried everything I could think of in the display software options menu, but nothing fixes the problem. And yes, I too tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers and software, and that didn’t work. I feel this is probably something ridiculously simple to solve, but damn if I am completely stumped about what to do. Please, If somebody could help with this, It would mean a lot!
BTW, I also have downloaded in my PC Overwatch and another steam game (Battlechasers Nightwar) and both run perfect, no color issues.
