so has anyone else been getting absolutely wrecked in arena by people wearing ‘odd’ looking armor? By ‘odd’, I mean armor that looks like a Defender variant with metallic gold trim. I’ve got my armor to 99% completion (all I’m missing is Helioskrill and Achilles) and none, I mean none, or my armor has metallic gold trim. Yellow, yes. Gold, no. Any ideas? Not complaining, but it’s really cool looking armor and I’d like to know what it is.

Sounds like it might be achilles, which has metallic parts on it.

Your best bet would be to either get an in game screenshot or check through your Game History. Possible to be Achilles as others have stated.
I will try. Not Achilles, people wearing it aren’t in a SC and have an abnormally high K/D. They were all also unranked in all playlists.
It’s Rouge armor. It has permanent Gold marks on it. Pretty annoying. I wish 343 would stop doing that or let us control the extra colors.
Edit: It could also be Foehammer Echo. But it’s likely the alternate Rouge Skin that you saw.

I haven’t seen it in a few days, but it looked like a combination of rogue and foehammer. Found it in my game history but not sure how to link the image without said players gamertag and I don’t want to call them out, I know that isn’t allowed.
your showing us some cool looking armor… I don’t see the problem, link the game 
Once they’ve got the armor they can leave the company and still keep Achilles, so don’t completely rule it out I suppose.
