I feared the worst for halo 5 population in the Oceania regions
It turns out I can’t even find a game on Social Assualt, Team Arena, Slayer, or Swat frequently.
I am high ranked (Onyx and Diamond) and understand there is a smaller pool of players but seriously if I can’t find a game even in my diamond playlists, I don’t see the point of playing cause I’ll search more than playing
Anyone feel the same way, I don’t wanna give up on Halo
You seem to have made the assumption that they were alive to begin with.
The Oceania servers a generally, very populated in the afternoons. Usually between 5pm to 10pm. Well that is at least for me.
I understand the frustration, although I haven’t noticed the problem as bad as what you say. Im mid-high diamond and as long as its peak time I can mostly find team arena, slayer, social and normal warzone matches without too many issue. But outside peak times, or on the other playlists, yeah its impossible. I don’t really know any good solutions though, its the lower population in our region.

Agree its a struggle
Lets get everyone who wants to play to run competitive 8s. Just rotate teams in unbalanced 
The only games I can find are team arena, warzone, social assault and grifball. Even then it’ll take time usually.
Any other mode is hopeless and always results in “could not find game” after a long time searching. If I join a full team via lfg then I have a shot at warzone assault.
