Just want to know how many people are still playing the game on Oceania servers, and whether there would ever be a population counter appearing on the homescreen or even in each individual playlist?
I feel like im wasting my time searching in FFA and Warzone Assault as I almost never get a game in those two playlists. I love Halo 5 and have loved every single Halo, with Halo 3 being a personal favourite, but this lack of attention to detail is the reason I feel we are losing our casual players. They dont want to spend 15-20 minutes finding a game in certain playlists, and a population counter would fix that issue instantly without hurting 343’s budget at all … keep it simple 343, we dont need fancy, we just want to find games, get a few headshots and blow up a vehicle or two on the way to a win without wasting time searching for players.
Also any Aussie players who take the game reasonably seriously and are looking for a team to play either Arena or Warzone tonight hit me up with a message. GT is ‘Relinquisheddd’.

You can get into Warzone Assault if you get into a party with Americians. We play regular Warzone here in Australia every day and night no problems though. FFA still works now and then just have to wait awhile sometimes.

I have searched today on both gametypes multiple times for 5+ minutes each time and havent found a game. What i have found with Warzone Assault is having a reasonably large party helps find games but playing solo ive had absolutely no luck

Ah ok yea well we might of got games because we had a full party as well. I just thought it was because we had US players in the Fireteam.

That could be it as well, I dont know any US players, prefer to play with Aus players but could be something to try in future

if 343 wants people to stop quitting games maybe give us the option to select what server we play on so we don’t have people straight up disappearing on our screens
the teleporting today has been horrible
So I had to quit the last game I played due to the aforementioned lagfest and player teleportation and now I’m ban for 24 hours…
seriously before you go banning the few people who have stuck around to play this game fix your -Yoink!- servers

you put me on servers half way around the world force me to play laggy unplayable unwinnable games and then penalise me when I quit them

Same here for kiwis. The only game modes I can play are slayer and war zone, I haven’t found a BTB or FFA in about 2 weeks no matter what time I log on

agreed need to defiantly let servers be chosen for regions for those with a crap internet connection.
i try to play every day but some days takes an hour to find a game in arena and warzone playlists, and even still of those have had a few lag out

never find warzone assault
one arena game in 14 hours

Yeah you just need to team up with a few other players to speed up the time to find warzone/btb games etc.
I have less issues finding FFA matches since last update (and drop to 6 players), but it still has a long wait.
Why they can’t provide a preferred server to search in such as Respawn did with Titanfall, we’ll never know.

Out of curiosity, how is the lag for you guys in Australia? Are we Americans teleporting around everywhere?

I think we are on a dedicated Oceanic server arent we ?
if not, I rarely see people teleporting too much, the connection seems reasonably fair

Some guys have more trouble then others. Personally I can still land my shots but our Spartan Company leader couldn’t even connect to matches last night. Few guys complain about rubber banding at times as well.

I’ve never once got a game of war zone assault, and as an Oceania player it’s impossible to find a game of anything before lunchtime, except maby slayer.

I stopped playing during the day because the matchmaking is terrible even if you do get a game. Best time to play is when everyone gets home from work. That’s when I usually log on. Games go fairly late into the night which is good.
So true. I thought I was the only one. Other game modes like Team Arena and Slayer takes ages to matchmake. SWAT is the easiest to find imo
