Hello just today I managed to complete halo master chief collections 4 campaigns on legendary, something that has not been easy. After a long sigh of relief I decided to go and look at the helioskrill armour but for some reason I have not go it on halo 5. Now in all honesty I’m a quite salty due to this and would like to know why and even better how to fix it.

First, you can obtain the Helioskrill set through gold packs now anyway, so you don’t need to get it from MCC anymore. Second, did you get the achievements for completing all the campaigns on legendary? If you didn’t get the achievements then Helioskrill will not unlock for you. If you didn’t get the achievements, then you likely lost connection at one point or another and will have to redo any missions completed while offline. I hope this helps.
Make sure it shows legendary completion on waypoint for mcc. Also, it may take a bit to show.
I dont believe you have to get the achievement, or didnt at least when i did it. I only beat 1 with ammo skull and 2 with ammo and scarab skull and i still got helioskrill.

Yes iv just checked way point for each game (H1,2,3 and 4) and iv got the legend achievement too but no armour
Well unfortunately they use server side achievements now so all you can really do is hope it unlocks sometime. These server side achievements are yoink. I was an avid achievement hunter but these server side achievements are really a coin flip of a chance if they actually unlock after you complete them. I had to replay quite a few missions in MCC to get them to register. I did earn Helioskrill but as they just stuck it in gold packs it lost it’s luster. I stopped wearing it after that.

Regarding your first point: while yes, you can get two variants of Helioskrill from gold packs, you can’t however, obtain the original, legendary armor set. That’s only through completing the campaigns, and I’m glad I stuck it out and got the version I wanted, as mind numbing as it was playing through all of them.

Can you not get the original from gold packs? I thought that’s what everyone was complaining about. Idk, I’ve had Helioskrill since launch so it was never an issue for me. I never use it anyway.

I am pretty sure all of the Helioskrill armors are in gold packs now.
I just did mcc and got the legend achievement but no helioskrill
