When I go to adjust coordinates, a lot of the time an object will randomly rotate 90 degrees, then refuse to go back to the position I had it. It’ll rotate 180 degrees whenever I try to move it back. Does anyone else have this problem? Anyone know how to fix it?
have it can’t fix it
Usually only happens when you’re forging with someone else. Save the map, restart the forge sessions. If that doesn’t work simply delete the piece and spawn another one.
Annoying glitch.
If you’re using rotation snaps, choose a smaller snap.
Turn off rotation snap and bring the piece into the position you want to have. Then turn on rotation snap again (only 5°) to make that piece line up with whatever you want to attach it to.
That’s happened to me before, all I can say is go off 90 / 45 / 30 degree angle snap and it should return to normal. If nt just turn rotation snap off altogether and then put it back on.
I have this problem all the time, and the easiest way to solve this is to, look from a different direction and use the other thumbstick to manipulate the piece, after it behaves normally then it is fixed.
Problem is though that as soon as you grab it the item rotates into another direction.
If you delete the object and place a new one it undoes the problem if restarted the forge sessions didn’t work first.
Same problem, 90% of the time it fixes itself when you play with the angles and different objects, i usually keep forging and it goes away rather quickly, but it is annoying.
