Objective menu without slayer please

Just played some arena on H5 tonight. 9 games. 6 were slayer.
I can just go to the slayer menu if I want to play slayer, but I want to play oddball or CTF or strongholds.

Please have an objective menu without slayer.

I’m hoping this issue will be solved in Halo Infinite. The MCC collection allows you to play exactly what you want with the advanced search preferences. I’m assuming they are testing on MCC for what Halo Infinite should launch with.

It’s about player population. They have to consolidate playlists when there aren’t as many people playing. That’s the reason why Halo 5 doesn’t have a dedicated playlist for objective gametypes. I don’t think that will be an issue when Halo Infinite launches.

I know how you feel. I play slayer though, and stick to it. However I have teamed up with friends in the past where it was 6 objective and 3 slayer. The population is the problem imo. Like Nate said, it should be better when the new game launches. If I had it my way we would have objective only too. Many don’t like slayer, and vice versa.

Yeh agreed, rather play objective based games than slayer based games. Not a fan of games where the only thing to do is try get our k/d up.

As previous posters have said, it’s more of a population problem in H5 than anything else. If there were enough players to justify an all-objective Playlist, that Playlist would exist. If there are enough players in a Halo game, as historically has been demonstrated, there even can be practically permanent Grifball and Action Sack playlists. It’s all about how many players there are and how many of those players want to play what modes.

I agree that I’d like to see an objective Playlist, but if one doesn’t exist, I don’t think it’s necessarily the fault of the Devs.
