Objective Kills don't matter ?

So why don’t kills and deaths in Objective game effect your KD

Out Slaying is part of a good objective game – Its what help get the job done

Rushing the flag over and over without killing , Is a terrible idea -for the most part

Because people don’t know how to reward wins in Objective.

Mainly to keep people from farming kills, and to actually make them do the objective and be a teammate. I can see your point though

But I still get credits per kill. What exactly is going to make me stop?

The lost codes knows as sportsmanship, morality and good clean fun. Other than that not jack -Yoink- other than the fact that only -yoinks- farm kills in objective.

Because blindly charging the objective is all that matters. Duh.

Because its objective, you have an “objective” to complete to win the game, not gain as many kills and lose.

This again? Really? ;/

Like Halo is the only game where people farm kills. I actually like it, gives the two modes more distinction and clear objectives. K/D obsession is a little over the top these days.

I think there’s a small group that’s fixated on the fact that their kill farming wont effect their global k/d anymore…

I can see a few reasons why:

-A good chunk of people do.t want their k/d ratio trashed because of the occasional dying for the team. Others may avoid it all together. Doing this may bring more people to the objective playlist.

-They want a bigger focus on the objective. To me, this is a good start. However, I think they need to do more.

-Stops stat inflation through objective gametypes. You’ll be surprised by the amount of people who can’t do basic algebra.

…That’s all I got.

Doing this will not fix people from HTO

You will still earn points and assets for kills in objective game right ?

I’m going to leave this quote from A Game of Thrones here: “Rhaegar fought valiantly, Rhaegar fought nobly, Rhaegar fought honourably. And Rhaegar died.”

Killing (and dying) is an important part of all Objective gametypes. Without that, Capture the Flag might as well be “You guys take our flag first round, then we’ll take your flag second round, then on the third round we’ll just sit together in the middle of the map drinking tea until time runs out. That way we’ll have a nice, even game and everyone will have fun!”

War isn’t like that. These are War Games. You play dirty or you die. This isn’t the 18th century. Chivalry is dead. Honour is dead. If you don’t kill your enemy, your enemy will kill you. It’s not pretty, it’s not nice, it’s not even fair; it’s just the way it is.

If you still don’t get it, I’ll leave this quote from Halo: Contact Harvest here: “Someday we will win, no matter what it takes.”

If you’re in a position to kill farm or spawn kill, take advantage of it. You’re fighting for yourself and your team, not them. In a game of Halo, there is no place for mercy. An honourable man ends up on his knees while the swords descends upon his neck.

When you play a game of Halo, you win or you die. There is no middle ground.

Farm killing would never occur if they had a good ranking-system.

No…I have played shooters where spawn-killing is much more common-place than Halo or Blackops lol. If one team is able to dominate another one to the result of getting spawn trapped that is not the fault of the game, that is just a very unfair match and happens in every game.

Sorry miss reed

Whats the point of even having a k/d then if half the games you play dont even count. So stupid.

I can see alot more mindless objective rushing then actual tactics being used if thats the case.

duurrrr, because the objective population is super low, so there will be one of two results

assuming they actually remove the stats from objective

i) the already horrible playlist becomes even less populated

ii) bad kids rush the playlist as a safe heaven from anyone able to aim

Anti stat-padding, focus more on objective.
