i just played a game of grifball and im being honest, IM -Yoinking!- PISSED! The other team scored once and held the bomb for the rest of the game. Its annoying and i hope something is done about in Halo 4.

Apparently there’s no K/D ratio for objective games in Halo 4, I’m not sure about Grifball but in games like capture the flag and assault it should encourage players to go for the objective,
I was in a bomb game last week when that happened, the team got a score then got the neutral bomb and boosted kills, it’s annoying as hell, but I did ruin a few frenzies etc.
Grifball encourages this by offering 20-30K credits per game if you play every round into sudden death and win. Honestly, grifball is an awful way to boost K/D. Host plays too much of a role and it is inconsistent.
BTB teams choose objective so when players quit (which always happens) they can end the game. People earn credits either way so there is no incentive to win. You actually get more credits when the game is longer than when you win. It’s matchmaking, not the players.

Before the start of a match, watch to see if any of your teammates are partied together and/or if any of their service tags are UMAD, SWAG or POOP among others that I know I’ve forgotten. Generally, the match starts off well enough until you get the Grifball and you’re immediately betrayed for the bomb by the individuals who fit this profile who then go on to play the rest of the match as you described above. If they’re in a party of two, one or the other betrays the player not in their party for the bomb and their friend defends them from both the opposing team and their teammates who just want to play Grifball.

Not sure, to be honest. I’ve heard that it’ll count towards your overall K/D but won’t be shown post game but I don’t really know for sure. (I’ve been otherwise occupied lately to keep up on all the latest. Except for leaks. I’m all caught up on those. 
)

Simple answer. yes.
C’mon no more k/d tracking in objective games! no more stat padding! I wish grifball had a ranking system, like you get something for scoring as fast as possible instead of holding it to drag the game out. When I play if I have the bomb I avoid contact between the other team and I and score when I find an opening. That’s the way it should have been, reward faster games rather than boosting them. Can’t wait to see halo 4 grifball.

Well, i hate to break it to you, but i started back in january and what am i now, a commander, with a 61 BPR, and 1.39 k/d. you on the other half have 1.20 k/d with a BPR of 55. And the most embarrassing part is that you played more games than i did and you died in most of them. Me, i survived. Bottom line, like you always say, you should think about moving to a playlist that doesn’t involve team. hmmmm…
