I’ve been wondering about what the ranks are in O.N.I? I mean is there a chain of command or anything or does it just go by the sections or what not? If you have any information on this subject please do share it with me.
you probs start at private or something
Actually Oni would probably be something like the UNSC Navy’s ranks due to ONI Standing for Office of naval Intelligence and alot of they’re high ranking officers like the leader of section 3 is a vice admiral along with the other sections and head of oni is a admiral which are navy elusive ranks.
ONI is a branch of the military like any other. At least in terms of ranking systems. I think it is safe to assume that they follow the same rank structure as the proper UNSC Navy.
Granted, there might be scenarios in espionage where ranks are less important than other considerations, depending on the situation, but the ranks exist all the same.
Some sections are more important than others but they logically would have military ranks as they are the office of naval intelligence
I’d assume the ranking structure would be just like the UNSC. Because Serin Osman, the Spartan-II washout, was an Admiral in ONI.
No assuming is necessary my friends. ONI does have a rank based system following that of the regular UNSC Navy as per UNSC regulation 5-12 parts A-D. They have a chain of command like any other unit. The main difference is most people will decide to default to ONI’s rule or let them do their own thing.
