My Alienware r11 nvidia GEForce experience Shadowplay screen recording stops every 2 minutes only when I play halo infinite and no other games. Please fix.

Yours even works? I figured we’d need to wait until Nvidia drops a game ready driver for Infinite…

I’ve actually switched to capturing with Xbox Game Bar (I’m on PC) and it works pretty good. Although:

  • It only does 1080p60 to mp4
  • The audio codec is HOT GARBAGE, for whatever reason it doesn’t handle the audio pipeline correctly. (It makes a $300 mic setup sound like an echo filled zoom call on a Vtech laptop) Just leave the mic off and use Audacity if you need the mic audio.
  • Capture notifs are delayed, but it does do the same Instant replay function. You have to enable it in the full settings page, it’s finicky and annoying.
