Hey everyone, NVIDIA launched it’s new driver today that should fix all the crashes PC players have been experiencing. Everyone make sure to update your divers. Driver number should now be 497.29.

Is it specifically for Halo?
No, the patch notes show fixes for multiple issues related to Windows 11 and the latest Windows 10 update as well as other things like GPU performance. I only knows it provides a fix to the crashing issues due to a friend I have at 343 who’s a graphics engineer told me last night after my game crashed while we where in a ranked match.

Ctrl + F and couldn’t find the Halo anywhere in the documentation. 
That’s because the issue isn’t Halo. It’s something within the last NVIDIA driver that was causing the crash. The fix isn’t specific to Halo. It’s a general fix to their driver that improves performance over all. Halo wasn’t the only game (least not for me) experiencing crashes.
What is this bs there is no crash fixes in this patch notes its moslty for the new DLSS in Horizon and few issues in MSF
I don’t have any crash on any game except Halo and I play a lot of heavy games
You can check the Digital Foundry PC reviews there is multiple major issues and the game runs poorly
They had to use Xboxes to keep playing during the HCS Raleigh imagine that.

Nope, these new drivers don’t stop CTDs. I’m only at the beginning of the game where you turn off the defence shield and then blow up a couple of things then go back up to the main deck and flick a switch or something but when I get up there I have a CTD and you have to start that part of the game again. I don’t know whether this could be heat-related as it is summertime in New Zealand and yesterday inside it was 30c and about 32c outside. I couldn’t even start the game without a CTD. Graphics card got to 74c I don’t know whether that is to hot or not.
I keep losing connection to server and crashing; wonder if that will help with that…
