Annoyances:
Bountiful Grenades- Grenades are everywhere so much so I can throw and throw and throw but never run out. Now that is not the case on all of the maps but some should have less grenades and more precision type weapons(BR, DMR, Light Rifle, Carbine).
Shield Regen Fail- Having issues with the shield not regenerating at all. I was crouched in the corner for 15 sec no shield, and decided it may have just been lag walked out into a head shot.
Teleportation- This only happens when Im trying to flank a team by myself. I will be headed around or above and end up teleporting to the center of the group all shooting the ever loving crap out of me. Happens frequently and only while im alone. I don’t understand, maybe just coincidence…
Lag- Is HORRIBLE! Which doesn’t happen like that in any other games aside from the Halo games on the One.
(Added) Infinite reloading- Having to reload weapons several times and not replenishing the clip.
Anyone else having problems today?

I’m not an expert, but my two cents -regarding the grenade thing, Thats a game balance/map layout thing, and its not likely to change unless a majority of people think its negatively affecting matches. Sorry that it bugs you. As far as everything else you mentioned. Sounds exactly like what you’d encounter if you were under some heavy lag. Sounds like that’s the root of your problems. Before you go and say “But I have superfast internet” recognize that speed alone is not always going to guarantee you have a perfect connection. Lag Happens, it sucks but its true.

Yeah I know just pointing stuff out. Def getting a lot of lag and expected it due to the popularity of the series; However, if someone else has the probs then maybe it can be looked into.
Next notable issue:
War Zone not allowing req usage- I have had 2 games in war zone where I could not upgrade my weapons at all during the match. Couldn’t get a BR, Special, or Vehicle, or Boost, Regardless of level or points… Just refused to work.

With a little research it seems as though all over, where people have the Time Warner Cable Provider, Halo 5 Guardians is completely un-playable. My download is 38 and my ping is 18. I am the only person from the group I play with who is having the issues in the same Match Made Game.
The only other Xbox service that has the same lag and crashing issues is The Master Chief Collection.
So I guess this leads me to the following questions:
What kind of problems arise when the programming or servers at 343i collide with the Time Warner Cable service?
Does anyone have any information about this conflict between services?
How can it be fixed?
Is it on Time Warner’s end or on 343i?
Basically I traded in my regular Xbox and game collection to pay for this game, and I cant even partake in my favorite aspect of said game…

Well, I don’t really know the specifics of your issue, but I have Time Warner Cable 15 MBPS, and the game has functioned flawlessly for me.

Regarding the REQ usage, I saw on reddit that it was an issue affecting a whole lot of people, it was a bug. Reddit also reported that it has since been fixed.
Probably just a bug for the req station, but Time Warner and Comcast have been known to do stuff like throttle internet speed down on gamers, and people using stuff like netflix, because we use to much bandwidth, and then offering us a faster connection for a little bit more a month that basically just boils down to us paying them more to not screw us over. I used to be with Comcast and would have random problems playing certain games (but only popular ones) and when I got a new ISP, the problems went away. Both of those companies also have a monthly bandwidth cap that they don’t inform their customers of, but they rarely enforce it. Seeing as how it seems to only be affecting Time Warner customers, I would say it’s on their end and they might just be packet sniffing to see who is using xbox live or connecting to the halo 5 servers and slowing their speed down, especially during peak usage hours.
Well it is only MCC and H5. So if they are specifically targeting those games, well I just don’t believe that. I had been talking with TWC support and they asked for the port numbers from the developers to manually insert the changes into my modem and having done that I have better connectivity while playing solo, but once I have friends in the room it goes to crap all over again.
So I am going to continue hunting around, if anyone figures out any form of solution let me know here please. I have already lost the ability to play split-screen with the wife, if I can’t play with friends, why have the game…
Does anyone know how to contact a 343i employee who could shine some light on the subject, or at least some suggestions.

Here is an update, I spoke with TWC for the umpteenth time and they told me that because all of my other services are solid that it is not on there end and that they can no longer help me with the issue. They said I need to speak with the developers.
Recap: I have no problem with CoD Ghosts, CoD Advanced Warfare, Destiny, Battlefield Hardline, or Borderlands, not to mention all of the other services provided by XBL. The Games listed above are all multi player games, and show not a single shred of lag or any other issues that I am having in both MCC and H5.
I would also like to note that the voice/group chat is completely unaffected by the lag. Voices completely un-interupted and clear even though the visual lag is unplayable.
When I do get a non-laggy game, which is like seeing a unicorn, the gameplay and everything is absolutely fantastic.
Having said that, I have contacted Microsoft support, since I cant seem to contact anyone else, and they said they are looking into the problem and they will contact me with any information and/or solution possibilities that have been discovered. But after I gave them the conformation code the lady just straight up hung up on me without saying anything else so…idk.
There has to be a solution. I tell you what 343i, lets make this part of the game. Imagine that I just beat the first mission here, and the next mission is my next possible move. Can you read me Fullhammer?
We need to get this fixed. No problems with my provider but there is horrible lag with Time Warner. It needs to be fixed
Had TWC bridge the modem so now we can have solo games without lag. Have yet to try games with friends but that would be the true test. Will get back with an update tonight hopefully.
Ok, so the bridge has made it more manageable. Still getting lag, unplayable lag is still there but much less frequent. Haven’t been booted yet but working on game four of with friend testing.
From what I am looking at here, as far as working with TWC on the prob, I think that the conflict problem may just be between the modem itself with the 343i servers. If that be the case then it is an easy fix but don’t know for sure if purchasing a new modem would be moot.
Could anyone confirm my theory? Is the problem with TWC equipment in correlation to the servers? Would purchasing a new modem fix the problem? How do I avoid buying an other modem that will have the same issues? What to look at when buying a new modem?

Ok so the problems are still kicking. I have yet to hear back from 343i or microsoft support. Can anyone help with anything aside from the Google server thing?
I am now going black screen and can hear the game continuing without me. It remains black screen until I press b at the post game menu.
