While searching through the Universe section of Waypoint I found an Elite by the name of
N’THO 'SRAOM. Do we know any more about this character?
He began as a co-op character in Halo 3
Player 1: Chief
Payer 2: Arbiter
Player 3: N’tho 'Sraom.
Player 4: Usze 'Taham.
343 has since given them backstories and made them relevant characters in the lore because they’re awesome like that.

Seeing them star in Hunters in the Dark was awesome too.
Really, I hear people say that all these new books and stuff is “shameful milking” of Halo. But with this sort of quality, and breathing new life into old or one-shot things from the original Trilogy is ‘milking’ then I’ve just got to say: MORE PLEASE!
Broken Circle, Hunters in the Dark, and Last Light were nothing short of amazing. I loved how Broken Circle was centered around the aliens rather than being human focused, and
I loved the AI that featured near the end and how he integrated himself into Sangheli culture and adopted their customs.
Just read Hunters in the Dark. Great character, he is.
When Warzone footage first started popping up and they talked about Baron S’roam, I started to wonder if he had any relation to N’tho. However it seems like they are not the same character, just from the same keep.
He is one of the main characters in the Novel Halo: Hunters in the Dark

Very much so. Was great character development for him, and the book itself overall was pretty good as well!
It’s a shame to hear people say things like the universe is going downhill or similar, when we’ve got such amazingly written books like these coming out… Really looking forward to Shadow of Intent since it again shines light on our old Sangheli friends from Halo 2. How is that a bad thing?
Then again, not everyone likes the same things, so… Gotta respect the opinions of others - even if they conflict with our own.
Awesome! Thank you for all the information!
