I’m not sure how this would work but I have always wished I could make my own Halo fight. Perhaps they would make them in which they can be scripted, like you can make one marine operate the nearest turret or script them to follow a player or attack/capture an area. Anyone else have an idea of how it would work or be implemented in Halo: Infinite?
I think we’ll see AI in forge to some extent. The community has been asking for it for so long now and other creator modes similar to forge like the build mode in far cry 5 allow you to work with AI so I think it’s very possible that it’ll be added
yeah id like stuff like custom missions

Could def. Work many other games have done it. I would personally like this because you know people would start rebuilding halo campaigns of yester-year and I have been dying to see the games reimagined with more modern mechanics, abilities, visuals and such.
this is getting me excited just thinking about how many missions could be made and what the community could do. Imagine someone in the community build the infinity with npcs and all and make the banished attack it
I’d love to be able to add NPCs to forge maps, it’s been a dream of mine to be able to add them in since Reach. It all depends on the depth of the AI and how we’d be able to program them though.
I’ve always wanted AI in Forge. Making my own Firefight or even mission would be awesome.

I have a thread where I’ve been adding suggestions from a bunch of different people regarding new forge functionality and improvements in Halo: Infinite - there may be a few interesting suggestions there~
A lot of what is achievable with A.I. in Halo could be replicated in Forge by using pre-existing volumes or objective markers.
‘Trigger’ volumes could set enemy encounters in motion or load / unload areas of the map for better performance, and sets of checkpoints could allow predetermined patrol paths.
From there, pre-programmed elements like hit detection, cones of vision, etc. can be left to do the rest. Traits like rank, faction, hostility, etc. could be edited as well, allowing friendly Elites or hostile Marines, etc.
Would really benifit those who want to make custom modes like Invasion and Firefight. Maps would have more depth if areas were controlled by NPCs and turrets could be scripted.

That could work, but a lot of the suggestions you used sounded a lot like Arma 3’s AI customization.
People are already making A.I. in Halo 5’s Forge, which to be honest blows my mind. It’s really a testament to the work done by Tom French and the Forge team. And they’re gonna come back with something just as big in Infinite.
